Tarboro, GA. to Odum, GA.
65 miles

Sand gnats may actually be worse than mosquitoes. They are about
1/10th the size, come in millions and they bite apparently only on my
forehead. As some of you may know, I have a large forehead and its just
killing me.

Anyway, we rode through some of the most scenic backroads so far on the
trip. It certainly does add some mileage to the day but well worth it.
Georgia has so many different types of terrain. They include beaches,
plains, swamps, mountains, and of course Atlanta. This state is great
for touring.

We made into Odum today. Our legs felt like jello all day. Two days
of riding into heavy winds has drained our energy levels. I am hoping
we can get over this hump and get some energy level back.

We are camping next to Citgo gas station. Its pretty nice considering.
Patel Lalo, the owner, has allowed this to happen. Thank you.

We will try for Statesboro, home of Georgia Southern University. We are
in need of a bike shop and an army surplus store for Josh.

Good night.

Jin, Glenn, Josh
1 mile at a time..
