Crawfordville, Ga. to Colbert, Ga.
47 miles

We started the morning off on Bobby Lord's porch this morning. Bobby
had the day planned to go turkey hunting but the the case of beer he had
put an end to that plan. The beer consumption also put an end our plan
to ride out early in the morning.

We stopped at Liberty diner in Crawfordville for breakfast. It was
delicious and they gave us a very generous discount on our meals. Thank
you.

The ride was great as usual. Josh took off early this morning ahead of
us to get to Athens to purchase sleeping bag gear he needs for the
colder mountain weather. The ride took us through the town of Lexington
today where Glenn and I stopped at a BBQ restaurant. Immediately, people
inside were interested in what we were doing. We told them where we
started and where we were going and the charity we were riding for. The
owner came by and comped us lunch and it delicious. Thank you

We made it to Ron Jenning's house today and more importantly, made it
to Carla's kitchen. We were treated to grilled meat and all sorts of
sides. We definitely gained weight today.

Brad Trotter and Jason Wade made their presence tonight. There are
former co-workers and good friends of mine. Good times were plentiful at
the Jenning's.

I like to thank Barry Carson of P&M Army store in Athens,
(PMarmysurplus.com) for giving Josh a very good discount on his warm gear. It was
mandatory that he have the gear for the mountains.

One more note, good friend of mine Lee Childers and his girlfriend
Jamie will embark on a grand adventure of their own. They will ride their
fully loaded mountain bikes from border of New Mexico and Mexico to
border of Montana and Canada. The trail is called the Continental Divide
Trail and its 90% off road. Happy trails to both.

Good night

Jin, Glenn, Josh
1 mile at a time...
